This privacy policy is applicable to the quantitative and qualitative research activities conducted by Q2 Insights, Inc.

Collection and Use of Data
Research serves an important role in business because it provides data to make data-driven business and marketing decisions. Q2Insights collects research data digitally, in-person, by telephone, and by mail. When you participate in are search project with Q2 Insights, these principles apply:
     ‒   You will always be informed that you are participating in a research study.
     ‒   We will clearly identify ourselves as “Q2 Insights, a marketing research organization/firm.”
     ‒   We will clearly state the purpose of our contact with you.
     ‒   Your survey responses are not attributed to you in client reports unless you provide explicit permission otherwise.
     ‒   We will not sell your contact information to anyone.
     ‒   We will not present you with offers for products or services.
     ‒   Occasionally, we may re-contact you to validate your responses. In such cases, we will not misrepresent ourselves or our actions.
     ‒   Your participation in a research study with Q2 Insights is voluntary.

Data Gathered by Q2 Insights, Inc.
When you participate in our research studies, we may ask you about your opinions, attitudes, and behaviors. We also gather demographic information such as gender, age, and marital status. You may refuse to answer specific questions or discontinue participation in a study at any time.

When we contact you, we will typically do so for one of the following purposes:
     ‒   To conduct a research interview.
     ‒   To validate your participation in a research study.
     ‒   To validate the answers you provided during a survey or interview we conducted.
     ‒   To update our records on the accuracy of your personal information.

Much less frequently, we may contact you for one of these other purposes:
     ‒   To notify you if you have won a sweepstakes associated with one of our research projects.
     ‒   To ask for your permission to use your personal information for a purpose that was not articulated when we first collected your personal information.

Personal Information About You
During our quantitative and qualitative research activities we may collect personal information that is identifiable to you. This information may include, but is not limited to: your name, mailing address, telephone number, and email address.

We treat responses to all quantitative and qualitative research studies as confidential. We combine your responses with the responses of others who participate and report the aggregated responses (without identifying the individual respondents) to the client that commissioned the study.

When handling personal identifiable information, Q2 Insights adheres to the following principles:
     ‒   Q2 Insights does not share your personal information with other parties unless your explicit permission to do so is granted.
     ‒   You will be informed of the purpose for which personal information is being collected before it is collected. Reasons for collection personal information include, but are not limited to: responding to your inquires, conducting quantitative and qualitative research, sending incentive payments for participation in quantitative or qualitative research; and invitations to participate in marketing research studies.
     ‒   Your personal information will only be used for the purposes for which consent was provided. Personal information is only retained as long as necessary to fulfill the stated purposes. Q2 Insights may disclose a respondent’s personal information upon consent to
                o  A client when the study participant has consented to such disclosure.
                o  In accordance with industry (Insights Association) guidelines, we work with a third party that is bound to keep the disclosed information in a confidential and protected manner and use it only for research or statistical purposes.
                o  A third party or parties where the study participant consents to such disclosure.
                o  A third party or parties where disclosure is required or permitted by law.
     ‒   Q2 Insights endeavors to keep your personal information in its control accurate, complete, and up-to-date to meet the purposes for which it was collected. We rely on you to help us keep your personal information accurate, complete, and current by answering our questions honestly. You are responsible for ensuring that we our notified of any changes to your personal data.
     ‒   Providing your personal information is voluntary, and you may withdraw or modify your consent at any time.

Security of Personal Information
Q2 Insights takes appropriate technological and organizational measures to protect the personal information submitted to us, both during transmission and once we receive it. Our security procedures are consistent with generally accepted commercial standards used to protect personal information.

Unfortunately, no data transmission can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal data, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us, and you do so at your own risk. Once we receive your transmission, we will take reasonable steps to ensure our systems are secure. All our employees and consultants are contractually obliged to follow our policies and procedures regarding confidentiality, security, and privacy.

Unsolicited Email or SPAM
We do not intentionally "spam"email addresses to seek their participation in research projects. We send e-mail invitations only to people who we believe have "opted-in"(i.e., affirmatively agreed to receive invitations) to our communications or who are in our client databases. Every person who receives an e-mail invitation from us is given the opportunity to"opt-out" of that invitation and all future e-mails.

Data Collection from Children
Q2 Insights does not knowingly invite children under the age of 13 to participate in research studies without obtaining parental consent. If a particular project calls for the direct involvement of children under the age of 13 years for the United States, and 16 years for EU participants, Q2 Insights obtains permission from the parent or legal guardian.

Access to Personal Information
To obtain access to personal data Q2 Insights has about you, please submit your request in writing to info@q2insights.com or to Q2 Insights, Inc., 4403Manchester Avenue, Suite 102, Encinitas, CA 92024.

You may be able to access your personal information as well as delete it, correct, or amend it where it is inaccurate, except as follows:
     ‒   The expense or burden of providing access would be disproportionate to the risks to your privacy.
     ‒   Providing access to your personal information would reveal personal information about others.
     ‒   Disclosing the information would reveal confidential client information.

We will respond to your request within 30 days of receiving it. If we cannot fulfill your request, we will provide you an explanation for our decision.

European Union Data Protection Laws
To obtain access to the personal data that Q2 Insights has about you, please submit your request in writing to info@q2insights.com or to Q2 Insights, Inc., 4403Manchester Avenue, Suite 102, Encinitas, CA 92024.

Regarding your personal data, you have the rights to:
     ‒   Change your mind and to withdraw your consent
     ‒   Access your personal data
     ‒   Rectify your personal data
     ‒   Erase your personal data from our systems, unless we have legitimate interest reasons for continuing to process the information
     ‒   Port your personal data (portability right)
     ‒   Restrict processing of your personal data
     ‒   Object to the processing of your personal data

We will  notify third parties to whom we have transferred your personal data of any changes that we make on your request. Note that while we communicate to these third parties, we are not responsible for the actions taken by these third parties to answer your request. You may be able to access your personal data held by these third parties and correct, amend or delete it where it is inaccurate.

Data Storage and Retention
Your personal information will be retained only for as long as is appropriate for its intended and lawful use, unless otherwise required to do so by law. Personal information that is no longer required will be disposed of in ways that ensure their confidential nature is not compromised.
